Valerie Goss and Chicago State University's quantum workforce programs are highlighted by the Illinois Quantum and Microelectronics Park's Quantum on Campus series, including CSU's first quantum certificate recipient, who went on to Pfizer.
CQuEST Launch 6/10/2026
Chicago State University launches CQuEST, its Quantum Education, Science and Technology Center directed by Valerie Goss, uniting CSU's quantum research, credentials, and workforce programs. The center follows IBHE approval in December 2025 of CSU's Quantum Information Science and Engineering minor and certificate, the first quantum credentials at an Illinois public university.
